LICENSING COMMITTEE DECISIONS
The following is a summary of decisions that were made by the Licensing Committee at their meeting held earlier today:
- 1. The Committee:
- 1.1 approved an application submitted by Trainer John Moore to retain Jockey Darren Beadman (SEE PROFILE) for the period 1 October 2007 until 15 December 2007, both dates inclusive.
- 1.2 agreed to grant, subject to a satisfactory retainership agreement and medical examination, a Stable Retained Jockey's Licence to Darren Beadman for the period 1 October 2007 until 15 December 2007, both dates inclusive.
- 2. The Committee declined to grant either a Trainer's Assistant Permit/Licence or an Assistant Trainer II licence to Mr George Moore, son of Trainer John Moore, for the 2007/2008 racing season.

Included in his 85 Group 1 wins are 2 Melbourne Cups (1990, 1996), 1 WS Cox Plate (1996), the AJC Derby on 3 occasions (1996, 2006, 2007), 2 Golden Slipper Stakes' (1984, 1997) and 3 Epsom Handicaps (1988, 1991, 1994). He has ridden champion Australian horses such as SUPER IMPOSE (5 Group 1's), OCTAGONAL (4 Group 1's), SAINTLY (4 Group 1's) and LOHNRO (10 Group 1's)
He has ridden Group 1 winners in Hong Kong (1996 and 1997 Hong Kong International Bowl on MONOPOLIZE and CATALAN OPENING), France (1985 Prix Morny on REGAL STATE) and New Zealand (1996 NZ Derby on GREAT COMMAND and 1997 JRA Plate on KAILEY MOONLIGHT). He has also ridden winners in Japan and Singapore.
Since 1993, Jockey Beadman has ridden in Hong Kong on 7 individual occasions, having had 48 race rides for 6 winners including the aforementioned victories in the 1996 and 1997 Hong Kong International Bowl. He also rode THE DUKE for Trainer Caspar Fownes to run second to HAT TRICK in the 2005 Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Mile (Group 1) and JOYFUL WINNER for Mr Moore to place second behind ABLE ONE in the most recent running of The Champions Mile (Group 1).

以下為牌照委員會在今天的會議上 所 作的決定 ：
1. 委員會
1.1 批准練馬師約翰摩亞的申請，允許其於二○○ 七年十月一日至十二月十五日期間 ( 首尾兩天包括在內 ) 僱用白德民為聘約騎師。
1.2 同意向白德民發給馬房聘約騎師牌照，有效期由二○○七年十月一日至十二月十五日，首尾兩天包括在內，但他須簽訂有效的聘約騎師協議及通過體格檢驗方可。
2. 委員會拒絕向練馬師約翰摩亞的兒子喬治摩亞發給 2007/2008 年度馬季的練馬師助理許可證／牌照或二級助理練馬師牌照。
白德民簡歷
澳洲籍騎師白德民，現年四十一歲，於一九八二年開始以見習騎師身分策騎出賽，迄今已在策騎生涯中取得以下卓越成績：

- 勝出六十七場二級賽(自一九九一年至今)
- 勝出五十九場三級賽(自一九九一年至今)
- 勝出一百二十六場表列賽(自一九九一年至今)
- 勝出一千八百八十二場賽事(自一九九一年至今)
- 奪得三屆悉尼冠軍見習騎師殊榮
- 奪得七屆悉尼冠軍騎師殊榮，於一九九四／一九九五及一九九七／一九九八年度馬季打破頭馬紀錄，其後更三度刷新自己所保持的紀錄(現時的紀錄為一六四場)
- 奪得澳洲賽馬界全年最傑出人物獎(一九九六年)
- 四次代表澳洲參加在日本舉行的世界超級騎師大賽
- 兩次代表澳洲參加在英國舉行的識價盃騎師錦標系列賽事
- 憑傑出表現六次奪得佐治摩亞獎
- 所勝出的八十五場一級賽，包括兩屆墨爾本盃(一九九○及一九九六年)、覺士盾(一九九六年)、三屆澳洲賽馬會打(一九九六、二○○六及二○○七年)、兩屆金拖鞋大賽(一九八四及一九九七年)，以及三屆葉森讓賽(一九八八、一九九一及一九九四年)。他曾策騎的澳洲冠軍賽駒包括「重疊」(五場一級賽)、「八邊形」(四場一級賽)、「神聖」(四場一級賽)及「白金礦」(十場一級賽)。
- 曾在多個國家及地區勝出一級賽，包括香港(一九九六及一九九七年分別策騎「壟斷」及「加泰隆尼」勝出香港國際碗) 、法國(一九八五年主策Regal State勝出莫尼大賽)及紐西蘭(一九九六年策騎Great Command勝出紐西蘭打，以及一九九七年為「幾靚月色」執韁奪得日本中央競馬會碟)。此外，他亦曾在日本及新加坡勝出賽事。
自一九九三年至今，白德民曾七次在港作賽，共上陣四十八次，贏得六場頭馬，其中包括上述的一九九六及一九九七年香港國際碗。他於二○○五年主策方嘉柏馬房的「星運爵士」在國泰航空香港一哩錦標(一級賽)中取得亞軍，該仗頭馬為「三連冠」。此外，他曾策騎約翰摩亞馬房的「勝利飛駒」角逐今年的冠軍一哩賽(一級賽)，在「步步穩」之後取得亞軍。
