"RECENCY" & the HKRJ's SPEED MAPS
As we move along into the racing season, one of the most important variables in the analysis of racing is "Recency" - what has a horse has done in his most recent starts.
To assess recency without using a computer you would need to look at a printed version of each horse's form lines, identify those which have current races and assign a value of importance to each, one-by-one. A cumbersome task prone to errors. Thankfully, the HKRJ has developed an analysis tool that simplifies this critical process.
By using the HKRJ's SPEED MAPS (a FREE application), you can quickly filter and focus on the most recent starts. These are determined by a days-factor of your choosing. For example - look at only those races that have occurred in the past 90 days. The SPEED MAPS also give YOU the ability to further filter the information on other specific criteria (such as Today's Course & Distance).
The SPEED MAPS enable you to perform these important functions in seconds rather than hours. The more you use this application, the more you will see the power it provides, making the analysis of Hong Kong Racing a much easier task.
I will continue to give you suggestions on how you can use the HKRJ's SPEED MAPS, as I believe it is one of the best, if not the best, tools to analyze horse racing.
